RAPID CITY, SD (April 15, 2024) –National Bowhunter Education Foundation (NBEF) recently teamed up with education advocate Bethany Beathard. Beathard home schools her five children and is an outdoor writer/digital creator and military wife. Beathard’s social channels feature hunting, cooking and family posts. NBEF’s Executive Director Marilyn Bentz met Beathard at Professional Outdoor Media Association events and recognized her talent to educate others about bowhunting safety, skills and ethics.

“NBEF likes to build relationships with industry leaders. We’ve provided Bethany with shot placement guides, anatomy charts and 3D mini models to help communication the importance of shot placement,” said NBEF Executive Director Marilyn Bentz. “Bethany’s intelligence and energy make her an excellent industry liaison for NBEF.”

“I wholeheartedly support bowhunter education and NBEF,” explained Beathard. “Being comfortable in the outdoors and educating children about the outdoors is one of my major passions and incorporating that into our homeschool efforts is important to my husband and me. I enjoy teaching kids about animal behavior, hunting ethics and then how to prepare game meat after the harvest. I plan to share NBEF’s messages through my writing in hunting media as well as on my social channels.”

NBEF offers bowhunting instructional items, books, videos, 3-D models, apparel and more at nbef.org.
