National Bowhunter Education Foundation Supports Pope & Young Club
RAPID CITY, SD (August 9, 2021) – The National Bowhunter Education Foundation (NBEF) sponsored Pope & Young Club’s 60th Anniversary Convention this July in Reno, NV. Bowhunters celebrated the past and looked forward to future hunting experiences while networking and sharing information with fellow bowhunters at this popular event. NBEF sponsored a luncheon featuring speaker Andrew McKean, a long-time outdoor writer and currently the Hunting and Conservation Editor for Outdoor Life.
In her remarks, NBEF’s Executive Director Marilyn Bentz asked current and former bowhunter education instructors and former students to stand and be recognized. “It made me so proud to see about half of the attendees were instructors and about 75% of the audience had participated in an NBEF course,” revealed Bentz.
“Congratulations to Pope & Young on its 60th anniversary,” said Bentz. “NBEF was happy to celebrate this milestone with fellow bowhunters while planning for the future.”
“Pope & Young and NBEF share the values of promoting bowhunting and protecting the future of the sport,” explained Pope & Young Club Executive Director Jason Rounsaville. “We appreciate the support of non-profit organizations like NBEF.”
